Stray Voltage...

So I was going to feed my clowns and I happen to have a cut on my finger.. once in the water I felt a very nice tingle feeling and off to the sump room I went. unplugged everything one at a time and thankfully it was my maxijet pump I use for my reactor. here is my question..


How does stray voltage affect fish and inverts?


Does it affect coral growth?


For my old tank I had a grounding probe, should I be using this?


Any advise on this is appreciated, tanks (thanks)
