yettihead is right. The 6060 and 6080 are just plain synchronous pumps so no speed control is possible, like all synchronous pumps speed is controlled by the line frequency or Hz so they spin at a fixed 60 rotations per second. The unidirectional gear mechanism is destroyed by frequent starts and stops and so wavemakers cannot be used. The only control possibility is a timer at 1hr intervals. The 6000 and 6100 are low voltage computer controlled pumps and through a sophisticated control mechanism we can control speed and set pulses, further the computer monitors pump performance and protects the gearing from harder starts when they are controlled by our controllers through the 5pin computer interface.
