Stream 6200 Issues

I have 2 streams 6200 that continue to stall. Both have a hard white substance inside of the main unit (once you remove the impeller you can see it on the wall). The white substance is only on the inside of the unit, its not on the propeller. I have soaked both units in vinegar, and they only run for a few wks before they stall. I have a 6201 and 6100 and 6212 that have no issues like this. Is there something specific to the 6200 units?? The units are fairly new, i have only had them for roughly 6 months.

6201's or 6200's? A handful of 6200's and 6201's have white inner sleeves. If the sleeves are black with white build up you need to remove the build up. For all practical purposes the wavebox and 6201 are identical in heat production and energy use so any issues should be the same for all.

how do I remove the white build up? These are 6200. I soaked it with no luck. Any help would be great. What are the white sleeves for?

The liner inside the pump is white on some pumps, it is normally black, we changed plastics in mid 2007 and at first we didn't have a black pigment for the new plastic so it its natural white color. If the inside of the pump is all white then it is likely the white plastic, if it is black with some white it is just calcium build up and I would just pour straight white vinegar in the hole and let it soak for an hour or so.
