Stream and a 75?

Here is what I got. 75 all glass with megaflow. 30 gallon sump, about 90 pounds of live rock and about a 1 inch sand bed. I am looking to get some more flow and want to add a stream pump. I currently have four maxi 900's and a mag 9.5 return. I want to eliminate the maxis but I am concerned that the streams will make a sandstorm in the tank. Will I be allright with a 6000 and single controller or is it going to be to much? I am shooting for about 30 times turnover between the return and powerheads or a stream. Any advice is appreciated. Also would the stream be best mounted in the stream rock or on the glass?

i have a buddy who has 2 6000's and a multicontroller on a 75. no issues at all with the sandbed and awesome flow.

Thats funny, I have ONE 6000 w/multicontroller in my 100, and I have it off now because I was misled into believing it woud be fine. I'm not a happy camper at all.

I am running one in my 75 with a wavebox, no problems. I think 1 is sufficient. 2 could be used if you alternated them. Jon, I don't know how you are running that pump but 1 6000 is in no way too much for a 100 gallon tank.

i have 2 in my 4' 120 and like them so much i have 2 more on order. dont see how one could be a problem?

I use 2x 6000 and 1x 6100 in my 75g SPS cubetank. I have 30/100 % pulse with controller.
My SPS an fish love it.
