Stream cleaning instructions

Hi,
Take it apart and soak it all in a 50/50 mix of water and vinegar and leave it soaking overnight. The next morning it will look like new again. Then rinse in clean water and put it back together.

john...

That is what i would recommend, otherwise the manual illustrates the parts and assembly/dissassembly.

Well the alarm came on again today on the stream so obviously I am not cleaning something correctly. I hadn't used vinegar before.

When you say take apart and soak it all in vinegar, does that mean take the impeller assembly out of the pump and drop it in vinegar along with the pump? Do I need to disassemble the impeller assembly?

Yes, soak the impeller assembly seperately, key things to check are- is the upper bearing stuck to the magnet, this piece is under the magnet at the bottom of the well and a red oring is underneath it. The magnet should spin freely on this piece. Also, is the hole in the center of the magnet obstructed, water is pumped down through this hole to cool and lubricate the pump. I would avoid dissassembly unless necessary beyond this point.
