Roger,

What do you recommend to use for current in a 75G (4 feet, 18" wide, 21" high)? Would the 6000 be too much? I am keeping 50% softies, 30% LPS, 20% SPS. Ah, and I have 4-5" Southdown sand. Thank you!

The best would be a kit TN05 or TF05. The TN05 is an economy version and both pumps pulse at the same rate and speed. The TF05 allows individual control of each pump. Each pump will produce a flow of between 627 and 150 gph- you can electronically adjust it. A Stream 6010 is a possibilty but I would prefer the other set as your tank is a bit at the limit when I consider the sand and inhabitants. The 1" outlets of the 7200\2 create a similar wide flow effect.

I'd love to know where to buy such kits. I can't seem to find them online anywhere. I have a 75 in which I would love to up the flow. Do these pumps put out a wide flow pattern, or is it concentrated like powerheads (maxijet, etc)???

Thanks for the info.

Scott

I purchased the 6010 kit and its on its way; however , I too am worried about too much flow.....I suppose I could turn it down? and pulse at lower settings?

You can turn it down, the flow settings can be turned down as low as 600gph which from a 2" nozzle is a trickle, you can barely feel it. All online dealers offer them, Champion, Premium and Marine Depot, they are new and likely not listed yet. Just call them, I remain surprised at how people use the internet, for me I only trust a voice and would never fathom ordering something online.

Well, I'm just trying to find out who has your product. I'm particularly interested in the TN05 and the TF05 kits. I need large volume, but I don't want it concentrated like flow from a powerhead. The Streams are just too much for my 75 gallon, and I would like to have it switchable from side to side as well. I've got lots of questions, and will likely call whoever has them. I'm also concerned about mounting them on a 75 aquarium. Do they come with mounting kits???

The Stream 6010 is not too much for a 75, two might be though. The TF05 or TN05 will be also a very good choice though. They come with mounting kits but additional hardware is required for American tanks because of the trim. For Oceanic or All Glass style trim you need 3000.244, for acrylic you need 3000.26, for DAS they work as delivered. To switch from side to side you need a kit with a multicontroller.
