A co worker is looking to set up a 360G 8'Lx2'Dx3'H tank. It will be a custom Acrylic, at least 1" thick. I was thinking a pair of 6200s. Opinions? Would the Magnet holders work on 1" thick acrylic?
The magnet holder do work but you have to be more careful about accidentally nudging them, it is the limit of there holding power. What kind of corals will be in the tank?
My main concern would be too much flow for some LPS and softies near the pumps. If he can work with placing the corals that need less flow in more sheltered areas it should be fine.
