Stressed out blenny

Just a question of curiousity.

My Dusky Blenny is currently in quarantine.

At the LFS he was consistently coloured all over. All good. Healthy eater.

Got him home. Acclimatized. Into the tank.

He (for a given value of gender) has been in there for 1 week now. (5 weeks to go).

He has got 2 hidey holes to choose from.

I was just wondering how long they typically have their 'stress stripes' showing and how long they typically stay in their "Hide from all humans" character.

In the LFS he was happily cruising the tank when people wandered around.

He has eaten. (I've seen him dart out and back to hiding for food). He doesn't look like he is starving (Belly looks like it is not concaved at all).

Is this just something I should expect?

Maybe he's pining for the fjords. (He can see my Display Tank from where he is. Probably eager to get in amongst the rocks and algae)
