Stringy stuff?

Hey guys. I am not new to the hobby but I am starting to get back into it after a couple year break. I purchased this 90 gallon cube a couple months ago and in the last week or so I have noticed these stringy things on parts of my live rock. It is not really noticeable, but hopefully you can tell enough from the picture to tell me what it is. It's very strange as I have never seen it before. Thanks!

Way too blue...
Identification pictures should always be taken with the blue channel off or way down to improve color rendition and focus..

Better pictures

Possibly a type of spaghetti worm, it is definitely not peanut worms, so my expertise does not yield any better suggestion than spaghetti seems fitting the pictures, such hitchhikers tend to keep their head down when someone grabs their rock and sell it and then they start cleaning your tank and multiply fast, they will probably even send out some live food for your tank when they spawn and should be harmless enough.

Are they moving? Do they go away?
If so then yes Spaghetti Worm is a good possibility..
They are harmless/beneficial..

Could be micro brittle star legs too but I'm not leaning that way.. They are also harmless/beneficial..

For your reference here is a good site that has most of the common hitchhikers we find in our tanks with a simple thumbs up/down rating system..

And yes.. That picture is much better (but still a bit grainy/out of focus) but far better than the blue blob :)

They don’t seem to be moving at all. Just flows in the current it seems like. Glad to most likely hear it’s harmless. Thanks for the replies as well! If someone thinks it is something else please chime in. Thanks again!

yes- vermetid snail expelling waste
That's not their waste but their means of catching food.
Unless you have stony corals these guys are usually harmless. Corals however can and will be negatively affected by those nets, especially SPS.
If there is just one I would take the rock out and scratch the snail off. But you need to be sure to actually get the snail itself.

I usually crush their tube while in the tank and let the fish go to town on it.
