Strongest silicone to reseal a heavy 240 Gallon glass tank

Looking for recommendations to reseal a used old 240 glass tank with heavy 3/4" glass . Want to stick with clear.

Whats a good strong silicone? What is a good bead size in the corner? If I tape it how far back each side? 1/2" and 1/2" maybe?

I haven’t resealed a tank since the early 90s (Oceanic 200) but, any should work fine as long as it’s 100% silicone with no mold inhibitors, etc.

1/2” taping on either side sounds a bit much and would likely be visible once set up. I would try to mimic the original silicone bead size and (for lack of a better word) spacing as much as possible.

Wether you are just doing the inner seal or a full reassembly, I would think one 300ml tube would more than cover it.
