Hey everyone,
I finally broke down a pair of 55 gallons FOWLR tanks. I've switched to Nano reefs. I have the following gear I am thinking of selling/trading by parts. I will be at the Reading Swap meet looking for some frags. I need some goodies for my Nanos, my 24 has a 150WMH and needs some color badly.
(2) 55 Gal tanks - back glass spray painted Medium Blue outside (could clean.scrape it off if so desired.). Good shape, only minor scratches.
(2) heavy duty 2X4/plywood finished stands for tanks. Single hinged door swings up, (easy access to sump.)
(1) Iwaki wmd-30rlxt pump - (great pump, hate to part with it. This will cost you some nice frags.) Nicely pre-plumbed.
(2) old style 300gph J-Tube Overflow boxes.
(2) 48" Perfecto hoods for 55 Gals. Decent Shape. (Missing rear cutout strips - standard replacement part for a couple of bucks.)
(1) Roomy Wet/Dry Sump, plenty for a 150gal. About 30" long. A couple hairline cracks, bought as a scratch 'n dent, PATCHED and run for 5 years - no problems, never leaked a drop. Includes 7 gallons of Bioballs and (2) vacuum tubes. 2-Inlets and a bulkhead fitting on the outlet. Very Clean.
(1) basic old fashioned Protien Skimmer. Airline through the top, used external air pump.
CARIB REEF ROCK (Dead/Dry) about a 80lb Pile. A couple of large, flat "shelf" pieces. Plenty of 2-7lb pieces. Pretty clean, no heavy buildup, but could use a brushing, was only in a FOWLR tank with low lighting, not reef, no coraline encrusted.
Be happy to trade at the Reading Swap, or meet for a sale.
Figure about 35% of new price for a reasonable offer. We all know what this stuff costs new.
