Just an update on the sand, it is not a very fine white sand. It is more of a course, shelly type sand. Sorry if there was some confusion.

It actually went really well. They were really impressed with the 29 gallon cube They were really cool, and they own like 30 houses, so they just wanted to come out and make sure that their property managers are doing their job. They hadnt seen our house since they came down here and bought it after it was built in 2004. SO next weekend when Brannon gets back from LA, we are going to set the big tank back up lol

what's the footprint on that skimmer? I'm looking at getting an octopus for my little tank, but space is very limited.......I'm tired of looking at the hang on!
