Tassod, that red nem is gorgeous. A few lfs to me have had them in the past and not nearly as colorful and they sell from $400 and up. Something like that would probably go for at least $600-700. D nak could probably concur on the pricing for a red that nice. If I was in the market that nem would be in my holding tank getting cipro treatments and I wouldn't even bat an eye about the price. And I would take my chances for the price and how beautiful the colors were.

To each his own. A nem is worth whatever someone is willing to pay fort it. It's clear that this particular carpet is stunning and whatever wookie paid for it is worth every penny to him but someone else may have a different opinion. In my case, I had the opportunity to buy it but was to much for me.

The foot is securely planted to the bottom glass. It's been pushing sand as it wanders. Otherwise the red is very healthy. Since nothing else besides anemones are in this tank not too concerned. Just wishing it would settle.

Agreed. I was just trying to point out that it's a good price for what it is. I would never see prices like that for that nice of a nem here in the Bay Area. The last red I saw was for $400 and it was bleached to a faded pink and not doing good. The owner was trying to sell it at a discounted price to see if someone could bring it back. Discounted to $400
