Stupid Question on Epoxy

I picked up some Harvey's Plumbers Epoxy Putty for the Menards to fix a small plumbing problem of mine. In browsing the directions (real men never actually read them) is says that this can be used underwater and cures in about 3 hours.

Any experience doing this in an aquarium? Does this stuff give off nasty chemicals as it cures?

I would love to have something that works like a putty for mounting those difficult frags. Superglue is a pain in a small tank.

I use aquamend from home depot never had a problem. Never tried that stuff.

plumbers putty makes your skimmer go nuts and imho it is hard to work with. imho superglue gel works the best.

I use Aquamend. Cheap and works good. Cures under water in 20 minutes or so.

I use aquamend as well
