hey Im puttin the water in my tank tomorrow and I thought there was a salenity test in my test kit, but there wasnt, does aquatic treasures carry testers, or petco?? oh and anyone know about how much they run? thanks

Refractometer or hydrometer, the refractometer is a better choice and the hydrometer will work once you have someone with a refractometer calibrate it. :D

There is no such thing as a dumb question. How would you learn with out asking?? I also agree with letmegrow 1.025. I keep my tank at 1.026 but that's just my preference

lol im not very smart, I should have read the package of the hydrometer, lol sorry told you it was a stupid question!!!!!!! lol again im still such a noob sorry for the post

Don't be sorry but I suggest buying beer at the next pizza night.

Always ask questions...we may tease you but we will always try and help.
