Stylaster

I just picked up a nice piece of purple Stylaster coral from my LFS. Can't find too much about this coral other than the fact that it is NPS. Anyone have any experience with it? Any specific recommendations on feeding other than the typical sea fan regimen?

Their feeding tentacles are much much smaller. Mike (Aquabacs) I think was having some luck you might check his thread. One nice thing, if it dies it will hold it's color.

Thanks, I'll do that. Yes, they seem to have very tiny, fine hairs at the ridgeline of the coral. This one's got some nice purple/blue color to it.

in my experience, this type of corals with a feeding of phyto and zoplan tiny and a correct balance ionico, can survive in a lot of time.
