Stylophora Damage

I am new to keeping SPS. Have a 3" tall Stylophora frag. The other morning after tank lights came on I found it had fallen over against an Acro frag. It now has a dime size area of tissue necrosis where it had come in contact with the Acro. Have not noticed this area getting larger. Question is can this area heal? Surrounding tissue and rest of coral look healthy. Thanks for any info.

it should be fine, generally it will just grow over the wounded area.
