Stylos Not openning up

My stylos have been doing great since i got em about 3 weeks ago, all of a suddden they seem to creng and not fully extend during photo periods?? last 2 days..

been working to keeping my PH up but its been this low since they have been in my system

any suggestions??

my params are

Param check 12/15/08
Alk = 10.2
PH - 7.9-8.0
Calcium =455
Magnesium = 1450
Phosphates = 0ppm
Nitrates =10-20 ppm
Salinity =1.025 (based on calibration fluid at 35ppt.)

try bringing your Alk and Cal down, mine have been doing the same thing, it started happening when those peram's went up.

and Nitrates look high.

i find stylos more picky then acros.

Really.... yeah im working on the nitrates, and the alk is effecting the PH and thats already low, so thats confusing, when i try to raise the PH it Locks my Alk.... but all info says my Alk if ok..

also my Ca was higher than what you see just last week around 475 when they where doing fine

that's weird ace, i pretty sure over 440ppm of cal and it starts to presipitate on power heads and hinder coral growth.
is this problem in your nano tank?

Nope cuz i keep my Mag at 1450

the higher the mag the higher you can raise CA without precipitation.. i been through that before and raising mag has eleminated that completely
