I was curious if anyone is familiar with the Active Aqua series of water pumps? I see that they are quite affordable, just wondering if anyone has had a negative or positive experience when using them in their sump?
I am guessing that no one has heard of this before then? It comes with a two year warranty, so it may be worth the risk. Would a powerhead that comes with a skimmer be able to get the job done from the sump to the tank?

are you talking about something like a maxijet as your return pump?
depending on the height difference between the sump and the tank i don't think a little pump like that would have enough force.
i'm impressed with my mj1200 as an ATO/mixing pump but i wouldn't consider for moving water through the system.
