Substitute For ATI Bulbs

Folks,

Can anyone suggest a substitute to an ATI Blue Plus bulb? I want to run the following combo, but I'm short 2 Blue Plus bulbs...

Front-to-Back

Blue Plus
Fiji Purple
Blue Plus
Blue Plus
Blue Plus
Blue Plus

I have a number of other bulbs including the new gen KZ Coral Lights, ATI Actinic, UVL Actinic, Aquasun, etc... Fixture is the Solar Flare.

Any ideas are appreciated!

UVL new 75/25 14000K bulbs seems to be a good replacement for the ATI Blue Plus but the PAR doesn't seem to be there. I am just starting to play with the new UVL bulbs so don't have any real data to support that statement other what I visually observing.

I don't know what options you have, but you might look into the Geisseman (sp.) Actinic Plus which is a very similar bulb with a small decrease in par but almost the same look. I have these and prefer the b+ for sure, but I am going to order the Aquascience 22K instead of the B+ next time. If you are ordering them from reefgeek, you have to request the bulb because I don't think it is listed. I had a 75/25 and I did not see a similarity to the B+ at all. Just a different type of color entirely if you ask me. Good luck, I have followed the recommendations you got from Grim and think that the bulb combo you have might really look great. Please keep us posted about how happy you are with them. I would think that the Aquascience 22k would be your best choice. JMO

The Aquascience 22K look EXACTLY like the ATi Blue+ but it has the added benefit of giving the corals a slight actinic "POP".

Are the Blue+'s out of stock?

So guys, this has been beaten to death... What is the best 6 bulb combo for awesome color?

I have a Solar Flare... God it was so much easier with MH!

I think that is a great combo, but what about the red colors? I don't get much color out of my birds nest and a few others without turning on the aquasun, which is not the prettiest bulb. Sunny, your tank looks great, but I was thinking the best setup for 6 bulbs would be 4 b+ and 1 special and 1 fiji purple. IDK, I was interested to see the results with 5 b+ and 1 fiji purple.
