Please forgive me but the search function doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm wondering what is a good depth for live sand, and for that matter, what is a good brand? I've been looking on and off all day and can't figure out what would be good. I'm planning on a refugium with a deep sand bed so I think the actual display tank only needs about 2'' but I would like to make sure. I'm also having trouble figuring out what the grain size should be.
Also, does anyone know of a good online supplier of live rock with reasonable prices and shipping costs? I already checked my LFS and think I'd be better off taking my chances online.
