For those few of you
who may have seen my most recent threads, all has gone swimmingly.
I didn't get any leads on live rock to come through, so I took the advice given (by GSMguy) and went to aquatic technology looking for show peices. I paid high prices for two fabulous pieces. The aquascaping in my cube looks absolutely great.
Two days ago (or more, I forget) I acclimated the smaller of my anemones to the cube. He's bubble-tipping obscenely. Happy as a clam. So today I managed to bag both my clarkiis and the large anemone. They are acclimating right now. It took me almost 45 minutes to get the three animals. I ended up "catching" the male clown only by coxing the anemone-tickling its foot-off the rock and into my net with the male clown hiding, terrified inside the anemone. I took some bad pictures of the aquascaping and the acclimated smaller anemone before starting the second transfer project. I might post them tonight, if I get sufficiently motivated.
The upside is that I am going to have room for new frags in the 40. I look forward to the March frag swap.
Cheers,
Ben
