I took it slow and had him floating in a specimin container prior to being released into the main tank. I dripped him for 3 hours because he looked a little more stressed than normal. I then let him loose and instantly the fighting began. It lasted for roughly 30 minutes, but never got to rough. No missing fins, but they both look a little ratty. They are now next to each other next to the powerhead and both have taken some food.

Whew....I think I'm okay.

Too early to tell but lets hope all goes good. When I bought mine I just spent the money for 2 that were already paired up. They love each other :)

I should have done that, but I might get away with doing it this way. I wouldn't imagine they would be cuddly if one didn't submit. I saw the little belly wiggle and then the fighting stopped.

Both of em? Unless one is much larger then the other you could still have problems, just keep an eye on them. I am basically saying they coul dboth be males right now, and thus no real fighting will happen, until one wants to become a female you may not have problems.

I had 2 allardi clowns that were fine together for 3 weeks then one went haywire, I now have only 1 allardi clown.

Good luck with them tho!
