sudden color change in clown

In the space of an hour, after the lights went out, my male false perc clown lost a significant amount of colour. He looks like the white whale now. He doesn't look sick or unhealthy in any other way. Should I be worried? Actually I am worried, but what I'm asking is, is this sudden color change normal, or temporary?

IME all of my clowns have an odd color to them at night. It goes away with dawn.

I agree, all of my fish look strange after lights out, and look back to normal the next morning

Yep, he's back to normal, although, still a tiny bit pale. Phew! Thanks
