Suggestion for an external protein skimmer

A buddy of mine has a 260gal and would like to know what external skimmers are out there he could use.

Me Too! my total volume is ~ 350g, and I would rather not take up space in the sump.

Anybody???

oh yeah - my wife would be happiest if it did not cost a huge amount of $$$ (takes away from her scrapbooking fund, LOL)

Check out reefspecialty. I have the Cat 2 Hurricone skimmer and love it.

also check reef speciality for the reeflow 200 or 250. i believe they were on sales. built like a mac truck and work fantastic.

Does the internal Skimmer work better then a external skimmer?

It might not work better, but it won't cause a flood in your house! IMHO
