Suggestion on coral for top of rocks???

Hello all...Attached is a pic of my 90 gallon. Still a new system up about 8 weeks or so but my water parameters are finally in a place where I'm happy with my progress. I have a toadstool, cauliflower colt, zoa and added the small frogspawn frag this past week. Probably going to give it a few weeks before I add anything else. I have the Marineland LED 48-60" lighting system and 2 koralia 1500s.

I'd like to add something on the top of my rocks to add some color, probably the right side first. Was thinking Duncans maybe but have a lot of greens/browns in there now. Lot of flow and light up there. Any thoughts?

I was going to suggest duncans. I have mine on my highest rock and on the sandbed, they don't seem to mind either placement. I also put some torches and hammer up high. My frogspawn seem to like lower light in comparison. I really like my Aussie gold torch being up higher.

not a very high light system from what i know about your lights so maybe a meteor shower cyphastrea(turquoise body pink polyps), or other brightly colored variety. Maybe a favia like a prism?

A birds nest or some red/purple montipora?
Red or blue mushrooms?
Or some acro's?
Or, did you mean lps? The highest I have lps is mid tank.
I wouldn't recommend putting lps on top. I'm sure people do, but I have alot of light in my tank.
My duncan prefers to be on the sand.
How about some green nepthea?

That light isn't capable of sps IMO, so LPS is fine at top of tank.

I agree with Tweaked. Stick with Frogspawn, Hammers and Maybe some Duncans. You can even add some Torch corals. These will give you some nice corals and movement.

The marineland LEDs aren't that great, but it will keep a lot of corals but definitely not SPS. I had the 24" version on a 20g high. At the top of my tank is a duncan and leptastrea. I have hammers, mushrooms, brain, acans, blastos, favias, clove and star polyps, candy cane, and a echinata. All of these corals grew under the LEDs, but...

The LEDs made my rainbow corals lose their color and darken. I now have T5HO which not only look better color wise, but my corals are coloring back up.
