Suggestions For Chiller Replacement for my 1000 gal system

Hi everyone,

My system in total is about 1000 gallons, and I've been using a custom-built water-cooled chiller for the last few years. The chiller has been having problems (leaking coolant) and the guy hasn't been able to fix it, and it seems that there are a lack of guys willing to work on things like chillers out there. As such, the unit's on its last legs, and I need to find a replacement. The beauty of this chiller is that the hot water goes down the drain and so it doesn't put any heat into the house. I've looked at the air-cooled chillers, but don't really want to leave the heat in the house as they do.

Does anyone have a suggestion for what to do here? Does anyone know of someome making water-cooled chillers, or have a good outdoor unit they recommend? Thanks in advance for your input.

Thanks for the responses. Tacocat--that aqualogic looks like it'll do the trick--they have water-cooled chillers, which is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

If I were you I'd go with a chiller barrel and condensing unit (outside) see my gallery and sidewinder770. I use it on my 525 and 125 without a problem. I like them because exhaust is outside.
