Suitable setup?

I'm really itching to set up a small tank that's easy to maintain and dedicate it to nothing but sun corals. The problem is I'm in another build right now so I'm trying to work with what I already have.

Would a 10 gallon tank with a regular HOB filter and a Hydor nano power head be enough filtration?
I plan on doing weekly water changes to make sure nutrient levels don't rise due to the spot feeding. I would run filter floss or carbon in the filter. I
I'd also have around 15lbs of lr and 20 lbs of live sand.

Thoughts?

you should be fine. sun corals are very tolerant of water quality in my experience. Your only problem may be algae due to nutrient level build-up.

Run something like purigen and phosguard (in filter bags) in your filter.

Thank you! I have a lot of the HOB filters that come with the 10gal complete set ups so I was thinking of running one with filter floss and one with purigen.
