From what I've read about denitrifiers, I came up with a design but I have no Idea if it is theoretically possible for this to work. Can anyone either help me design one, point out some DIY plans or critique this?

Thanks mates! :D

I dont think its going to work. Too much sand. And why sand??? Why coiled tubing??? Even if it works at first...its going to clog down in a month and become useless. Just mix some sulfur beads and aragonite in a long tube and adjust the water flow to very low. Much better way is to build a sulfur denitrator following the design of koraline.

coil denitrators can be a pain in a reef there best in a FO so why try and use both methods at once?

i have a coil denitrator under the house and when i had it connected it did little to nothing in my tank. in theory they work but not practical and to much testing to get them dailed in to get lackluster results
