Hello everyone, I just wanted to post a positive thread on a product I am currently for about a month and a half now. I currently have a 150 gal. tank with live rock, wet dry system with about 12 medium, small size fish, and to top it off, I also use a canister filter to polish the water, needless to say I've been told by both LFS, and individual people who own tanks that between the wet dry bioballs and the canister filter, this would house a nitrate factory. To a certain degree they were right, my nitrates never went above 20, my ammonia was always o and nitrites 0 and PH 8.2. However, I could never bring the nitrates down, unless water changes were down, and as you already know, this would only last temporarily. I have been searching for a nitrate reducer, the first companies I looked for were in Germany, and with the homework I had before me, came to find out that customer service was bad, and only by way of e-mail. So, that pretty much took care of the German product. By luck or by searching so much, I stumbled upon an american company

They have an awsome new sulfur denitifier which I am happy to report has brought my nitrates to 0, nitrites to 0, ammonia 0 and ph still 8.2. The housing on these units is quite solid, it took about 2 weeks to notice a reduction, and now I am happy to report I have 0 nitrates. By the way, I had not done a water change in about one month and a half and the nitrates were like a 3. This week it went to 0.
I am endorsing their product because it works, I don't work for them in any way, type shape or form.
If you go to their website they have a forum with results from other people, mine is there on a week to week basis to help other folks who have questions regarding this unit. My name is the same verve if you look at my result. I will be happy to answer any questions for anyone.
By the way, their customer service was more than excellent, they always call you back if you have any questions or sometimes they even pick up the phone. This one is a keeper, no problem whatsoever. I wanted to share this with you all because this is the best way let others know about other products they may not heard of, or are hesitant to buy. I have to say in the beginning I was hesitant, but it comes with a 3 month guarantee and all your money back, can't beat that, results should be seen within one or 2 weeks. Anyway, they also have a discount for Reef Central subscribers. Please mention my name if you decide to obtain their product also, and he can even give you my info to contact me if you have questions. Good luck and I hope this helps everyone here.
