Summer is coming up, needed a new toy...

I'm so glad they went back to the classic look for the Mustang. The '93 model was a huge improvement over the '80's one, but this is just so mean looking...I love it!

Nah, won't be at the meeting tonight... Too far away and she needs a good washing, so, it's going to be a night in. Thanks though!

Ray, if you get a chance to track down some pics, I'd love to see them. Looks like I'll have to bring the Pony up next time I get some frags from ya!

It took some time for me to start diggin' this body style, but as soon as I saw this one, with the GT fog lights in the grille, I fell in love with it. One day I'd love to find a cheap Fox Body for a project, I've always liked them...

Mustangs?

Here's my toy-

Here are some pictures from this afternoon. It is kind of dirty, hasn't been washed in 4 or 5 years (honestly!!) since I never drive it in the rain.

I got it in Florida in 1990 when it was just under a year old. Has never seen snow or salt and rarely has seen rain since I started modifying it (zero wet traction!).

It has a lot done to it, but the highlight is a Kenne Bell supercharger with 9psi of boost. This type of supercharger makes maximum boost as soon as you floor the gas, no spooling at all, so the torque is absurd. I had it dyno'ed 5 years ago and it made 440+ is ft/lbs (at the wheels) of torque at 2400 rpms. I have done a lot to it since then (better aluminum heads, 5 more PSI of boost and some other things). This is what I spent my money on before reefing!!

440 ft lbs at the wheels! That thing must move ....

Mine is 330 at 4300 RPM, and then it drops off fast. It's all stock.

I'd like to race, but I think I'd loose!

Those 80's-early 90's mustangs weight a good bit less too, so the power will move it a lot easier :) I'm not a huge fan of the body style back then, but one shot of what's under the hood and I can see being a fan of driving it, and who needs a nice looking car when it's a blur while it's moving anyway?

Yeah, it kind of scares me now, especially as I get older :)

I had it at the drag strip about 6 or 7 years ago and went 12.6 @ 108 or 109 mph. Since then I added 5psi of boost, a better lower intake and AFR Aluminum heads. It should be good for under 12 seconds now, but I really lost the racing bug.

jeff those bmw are sick they have nice power to and good handling but im telling you go with a nice mucsel car youll see teh difrence real quick. i drove my buddys mustange not sure what year might be a 94 like i want to get. but anyways he had it suped up pretty nice nothing like yours ray. but as soon as you hit the gas OHHHHH BOY FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS. the car was sick. i think i toped it out at 118 on 279 north twards camp. not the smartest thing to do but hey i like to go fast hahaha. ray i was wondering what you had under that cover and now i see nice car and under that hood is SICK!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not into American muscle cars. The guy took me on a test drive and he went on 279 and got up to 160 mph lol. I was surprised because it was a old guy driving it haha. I think the 09 M3 has 414hp. My 07 Acura Tl Type S has about 300hp but is a little heavy. The Acura hauls when i want it to though lol.

300 is decent horse power but the weight will kill you. ps. let me know if your ever need a instal on some car sounds im your man.

LOL I already have a system in there if that is what you are asking haha. I have 2x JL 15" W3 in a sealed box in there now. They are running off a Diamond Audio 1200x1 D5 AMP.

I am upgrading this weekend to a 13.5" JL Audio W6 Sub with the same amp and a sealed box. I would go with a bigger amp but I need my whole trunk dynamatted.

LOL 300 is pretty good for that car but it sill goes when it wants to. We drove it back from Ohio going like 140 the whole way lol. No I wasn't driving but my friend was.

your onlyy runing it off of one amp? in my girl freinds bros exsplorer the 15 inch subs make his volt meater tearter and some times go to almost nothing lol but he runs his off a 1200 and i think a small 600 not sure though.i need to find me a job for a car insurence.im not really into the speed really (i have no need for it in the city) im more into the suv siting on 24 deal, since thats mostly what i help my freinds fix up and i grew atached to them. dont get me wrong if i had the choice between a mustang and a expadition i would take the mustang it in fact like i said that might be my first car. that being if i dont find a exsplorer or exspadition. i have a spare set of 15s in my basement siting in a custom wrap around box with room for two 12s in siting in the middle and the 15 on the outer edges of the box its a u shap. i have 2 1200 amps cant rember the make might be kenwood. and 2 600 amps cant rember those ether i think there kenwood to. im on the hunt for a flip up cd deck with remote control to it cant seem to find one im looking for use becouse new there like 800. and my boy has a pair of dayton tires (love them since thats my last name) siting on 24" BOSS rims that i might pick up pending i get a suv. the only problem i have with geting a nice car is i have jack *** freaind(lineman) that are allways hungry and i see what they do to cars now spilling stuff every were. i would hate to get a leather inter or even a not so nice run of the mill intrerior and have someone spill stuff all over it. hahaha but you gota love the fat kids.

The amp bridges to the two speakers. But I don't want the bass to overtake the song. Since I cannot run aftermarket tweeters, highs, and lows because my car is newer. Also since the Acura is newer it has a great power management system. What brands are your subs. Please don't tell me that they are anything you can buy from best buy or anything like that lol. My buddies at school have systems from Best Buy and they buy the biggest systems they have and I still have the louder system. Same go on the streets lol people stop next to me and start bumping and I turn my system up 100% and out bump them lol. I usually only run my system at 25%.

So, one thing that has been conspicuously left out here is your ex-wife. Did she finalize the divorce before or after you got this puppy home? Or did you get lucky and just pull some "couch duty" for a while? LOL

Love the tan interior...hot.
