Summer meeting poll

I made this so you can vote for as many dates that would work for you and we will see which one gets the most and hopfully it will work for me. I have plenty of vacation left unless I am at a new job where I don't have any. But I might just take off the whole month of August before I look for a job anyway.

Not sure about that I know allot of people are going the the frag swap in June but that doesn't mean there won't be a meeting. I am just trying to figure out which time would be the best for the meeting-party at my house. Which ever weekend works the best for the most people will be the one we pick and then the other month will be for someone else.

Host a meeting on Sat. and whoever wants to stay the night is welcome, cause it sounds like fun, or is July and Aug meetings spoken for?

I seen Firebird might do July so maybe August. That sounds like a good idea and if anyone can't make it on the Saturday we could have them come on the Sunday. Bring the whole family. I think I will pick a date soon so people might be able to plan around it a little if they can.

There's not a ton of votes but really about as many people have voted as have made it to the past couple of meetings. It does sound like fun but I think whatever weekend you choose (whether July or Aug) it'll be kind of iffy since people get so busy in the summer. I voted for a weekend that we have no plans for (Aug 5-6) but husband hasn't said if he'd actually be willing to do the camping thing or not. I have a bridal shower, wedding, and parents visiting in July (they're coming from Florida), so that's 4 of the 5 July weekends we're busy. And I have an agility trial and another wedding in Aug. (and probably another bridal shower then too!), so it's just busy!

I would say just pick a weekend that's convenient for you since the voting it pretty even between dates. And whoever can make it can make it. If you're going to do it in July or Aug I agree that picking a date sooner rather than later is better, before people make more committments to other things. Otherwise if you wanted to do it in Sept. instead there might be more people available with summer vacation over, and the weather should still be nice too.

That does sound like a good idea Nellie maybe I will just pick a weekend in September. I am off the first weekend and the weather should work out If it doesn't I have a big garage.
