So I don't know about everyone else but I find it easy to kind of get burnt out during the summer months (I plan to stick with it this summer since I won't be racing ) I was curious if there are any road trips to a wholesale vendor or if anybody would be intrested in doing something like that. I remember you guys going to Terre Haute Indiana but I was new and nobody wanted to let me ride along lol. But I think something like that would be good fun. We could pitch in on a big van or 2 . Just kicking around ideas and wanted to see who would be in on something like that.

I've thought about driving to Premium Aquatics and then stopping by the weirdness that is Inland Aquatics on the way back.

I'd be interested in something like this. It would just depend on the day/time of the week.

i say we go to a bar on a thursday for pizza and beer and then go to someones house to see their tank. you guys should come up with more original ideas...

I want to go up to live aquaria and take a tour.

I have been thinking about that every time my future wife tells me she has to go up to Milwaukee for work conventions. She always wants me to drive her or fly with her and I almost consider doing it because its only a few more hours north to take the tour.

The club has tossed around the idea of renting a bus and going somewhere like Chicago or live aquaria if they would give us a tour and selling seats to offset some of the cost of supply lunch/drinks. Not sure what kind of interest we would have. It would probably be a leave in the morning back late that night/early morning.

+1

Live aquaria has been a place I have wanted to see. Do they allow purchases on the tours? Inland to me is fascinating, I am 2 hours from St.louis an about 2 hours from Inland so I go to both but rarely buy at Inland due to their prices.

I think it would be a weekend thing. It would prolly take 8-9 hours to get there. At least a 2 day trip.

Are they as good as they wer with things since they are owned by petco now. i know drfs has gone down a little my better half was ordering hay from there and when petco took over the stuff was always on back order and seemed to be a lesser quality. ive never ordered from la but heard nothing but good about it.
