Sump and Euro Reef RS135 f/s

like the title says, i want to sell my skimmer. I bought it with my setup and have used it for about 6mo. Ide like to get $225 for it. Its still in the tank right now, but i could get it out and clean in within a day of the sale.

the sump ill let go for 40, its a 38g

Why get rid of the euro reef skimmer? Its a good skimmer. I would change the sump to something not so tall, you are right on that one, but I would keep the skimmer. You are not going to skim much, you don't have any bio load in there yet. Dead fish will only add so much.....Hehehehe

if im keeping it as a fowlr, there is really no need for such a good skimmer... and right now i cant even keep fish.

im going to just get a wet dry, or an acrylic already sectioned with filter socks and refugium, im not sure which yet.

I think you would be happier with the acrylic over the wet dry. But you are going to dump some cash for the acrylic sump, unless you make your self. I still vote for keep the skimmer.

I agree, keep the skimmer. You can't beet it for the money.
What are the dimensions of the sump tank?

I mean for that money the only skimmer that beats your euro reef is the vertex and its the same but adds a bubble plate. unless you are wanting something nicer
