Sump and overflow questions.

Okay, so I am about to get a sump and I was wondering how to prevent it from flooding. If the power goes out-flood. If the overflow gets clogged-flood. Should I worry about the overflow getting clogged? How do I prevent the sump from overflowing?

Do you have the DT already going? with Livestock .. and you are adding a sump?

I was going to go with the hang on overflow but I could not find one that is 100% and I am not going to take the chance and have 90 gallons of water on my floor...
