Sump clean up crew?

Do you guys put any type of cleaning crew in your sump? I have about a 4 inch sand bed, live rock, and Chateo (if thats spelled right). should I put some crabs or snails in the refuge or just keep what I have?

you can put some hermits in there. And snails would be fine as long as they cant into your pipes.

I would just keep it the way it is.

Maybe a rogue hermit. I just use a pump and get everything into the water column before I change the water. A sponge or filter sock would help for a few hours after the storm to polish.
