sump design/ skimmer output

Where should the output from my skimmer go if my sump is set up like this. My skimmer is not an in sump like the one in the rendering (well it is but it is too big for my sump).

I was going to have it dump back into the chamber on the left (same chamber that it came from) so the water would have to go through the bubble trap to avoid pumping microbubbles back into the tank. But i just read in the newbie forum that i should output it into the return pump chamber. He said something about reskimming water that had just been skimmed, blah blah blah.

Also how much water should i run through an 11 gal fuge? I remember it being said on here before but the search is disabled.

I'd run about 150-200 gph through the fuge side along with a powerhead about mj900-1200 size. What is the feed pump for the skimmer? I would bring the skimmer back to the same spot it feeds from for the microbubble issue and have a slower turnover from the display.

The pump feeding the skimmer is a Mag2 (250 gph).

I was also going to add a bubble trap on the right side to keep bubbles from coming in through the fuge.

Can you plumb it so that the overflow is the feed pump? Then you could use a mag7 for the main pump and have some pretty good specs. It should be about a 500 gph overall after head loss and a pretty even split on the drain. Then just get the majority of turnover in the display from closed loop/powerheads. The skimmer would then process all tank surface scum.

hmm... im not sure the intake port on the skimmer isnt very big, maybe 3/4". I already have the pumps. Mag 12 for return. about 900 - 1000 after head loss
