Sump Design

What do you guys think of this?

This will be the design for the sump for my 90.

I need a Cube shaped sump to fit under my 90. I think this design meets all my requirements.

The refuge will be supplied by the water that the skimmer pump does not pull out of the overflow area. I thing the refuge will have about 300 GPH going though it. I will have a powerhead in the refuge area to keep turnover higher.

It s a pretty easy design.

Great design. Great flow. Keeps the fuge flow out of the skimmer.

Why are you using under baffles into and out of the refugium?

Now to find the cheapest way to make it

Are you going to make it out of acrylic? John at FAOIS makes acrylic sumps. You might call him.

sweet... Acrylic would be my material of choice. Glass is so damn heavy.

I will correct my drawings and give him a call. I am working on a drawing with actual dimensions on it
