Sump designs for the April meeting

I would like everyone who's planning on attending the April meeting to draw up a sketch (reguardless of however horrible your drawing skills might be) of your sump, or the you are thinking about making.
Because there are so many different styles, and each style is tailored to a particular idea, there is a lot of room for creativity. If you can get the drawing's to me ahead of time I'll make copies for everyone.
Thanks,
B

My third sump soon to be made

My third sump soon to be made

The problem with my second sump was that I didn't allow enough volume for overflow... and as a result I've had my share of puddles in the sun room! This design gives more overflow volume, and also divides the water from my two overflow boxes, one at each end of my 65 gallon tank, into a left and right side. By altering the height of the overflow boxes, I can increase or decrease the flow from either side. So I can have a slow flow going over my refugium with a more vigorous flow going to the side with my skimmer and return pump. I've got a really nice submersible OceanRunner 3500 as a return pump, so I'm not going to drill a hole for an external pump for this sump. I've got three ball valves coming off the pump to distribute flow appropriately between my UV and two SCWDs.

33.5 inches long, 10.5 inches wide, 12.25 inches high. Water level at 8.5 inches.

Comments and critiques are welcomed!

Here's the sump that I installed this weekend from the design I pictured in an earlier post to this thread:

Finally, enough reserve volume to handle any overflow!

I give it a 9.6 Had to make a small deduction for excessive use of black tape. 2 words---heat shrink ;)
