Sump for the big tank

Hey guys, need opinions. I have a spare 55g and I'm looking at sumps now. Will the 55 be big enough or should I go to a 75g for the big 380 gallon tank I am setting up? I'm leaning more towards the 75g just to be on the safe side.

I am using a 75 in my 210g. I think Phillip is doing the same. I had a 55g in my 125g. I always want to add to the total water volume, due to your volume being so high to start with, it is not so necessary.

Your only issue will be skimmer. If you go in sump, you will need a lot of space for a skimmer rated big enough for 380g + sump.

I would go at least 75g.
