sump/fuge set up help!!

i have a 40 gallon reef ready tank currently running a wet dry system.im building a 20g long in to a fuge/sump for my skimmer and 2 tfl 150 reactors.

how do i need to lap it out?? i need help any ideas???

my systems been up and running for a year and a half now and i want to get my fuge up and running so i can run my skimmer.

Do you have an ATO? I would leave enough room for the skimmer then maybe 6 for the return (may have evaporation problems), and then I baffle so the fuge is fairly deep.

No ATO yet. I'm still deciding on what syatem to buy or just build one with a float switch ect. Right now I'm still deciding on what flow to use in my sump should I go to a T with valve controls to my sump and fuge to comtrol the flow in my fuge? And how do I take out my wet dry with out shocking the tank

What kind of skimmer? Leave 6-9 inches for your return, what kind of return pump? then the rest for fuge.
