sump help asap

hey guys i need help bad,never put together one together,i got my 10g set,i got my over flow and its pipe to drain with a special piece to allow me to unscrew it for easy cleaning,my prob is my return pump tube,its a 1" tube and i tried to put a cut off to it but the thing i rigged up leaks a bit on both sides of the cut off because its not exactly what should be used i suppse,what from lowes do i need to get to make this thing work right?

hey guys i seem to have fixed my prob and my sump is now up and running,though right now im sitting on the floor watching my sump and praying and hoping everything still keeps working ok while my wife trys ta sleep lol crap thing having ya tank in the bed room lol

hey guys since ive fixed my sump for good now i believe,any suggestions as to what i shoud put into my fuge part? meaning sand depth and of course ill put LR but whats best one chunk of rock or rubble,i have alot of chaeto i have to put in there,any help would be appreciated as this is my first fuge/sump

8" deep sand bed, with cheato that is trimmed when it starts to discolor, with rubble rock. You can order several other macro algaes, but some have cons such as being able to release the nitrates and phosphates back into your water. I tried that route on my 55 with success, but after researching it I decided to ditch the fuge this go round.

look to a durso, or Hoffer gurgle buster for silencing it. im using two gurgle busters on my tank. Bill is an expert on those.
