Sump help needed!

I have an Eshopps skimmer and I like it. It pulls out lots of skimmate. My skimmer is rated for 300 gallons and I paid less than $300 for it. I actually sort of like the babbling water sound, personally. Before my tank, I used to pipe babbling brook ambient noises into my jury-rigged ceiling surround system in my living room for me and the baby.

I LOVED my Bubble Magus NAC7 back when I had my big tank. That being said that was the older style. The newer style has some new plate on it that fits extremely tight, and in many cases pops the seam going up the side. It happened to me putting one together, and after talking to one of the guys who imports them he said it happens a lot, which is why they were stopping carrying the skimmers. Im not sure if this issue occurs with the non-cone skimmers, but its quite unfortunate. My old NAC7 rocked.

I really like my mce 600. I just moved it from my dt to another new tank. I might stare at the deltec in sump models as well
