Hi i am thinking of building my own sump and wondered if i put live rock in my middle chamber will this cause my tank to cycle again?

It would just be like adding additional rock to your display. Nothing to worry about.

as long as it is fully cured it will be ok but if there is any die off on the rock from it being out of water or in transit then you may have a mini cycle.

The safest thing to do is to either use dry rock (without a lot of dried on organics), or cycle the new live rock in a separate container before you add it to your system. If you had a lot of die-off it could cause a new cycle.
