Sump in a Drip Tray

Anyone here put their sump in a drip tray/pan? For my new installation, the sump for my tank is going to be on the floor in my bathroom (on the other side of the wall from the tank). I just ordered a nice thick piece of neoprene for it and the external pump to sit on, which will be nice... But then I got to thinking maybe it would be good to have some added protection in case the sump ever overflows. I always put canister filters inside plastic containers to catch any leakage that inevitably occurs, so I thought it might be a good idea to do the same with a sump... Do any of you do this?
