hey guys,

i am setting up a 93g cube. i just purchased a 1500 gph overflow kit for my drilled tank. it has two drains. i am trying to use the aqueon proflex sump model 3 which only has one intake. how can i make this work?

the model 4 aqueon proflex does has two intakes but is too big for my 93g tank.

thanks

1500 GPH is a lot of flow for this size of tank. you can try to do a 2 into 1 drain setup, but youre gonna have quite a bit of gurgle and surge trying to get this much water down a single drain. i tried to do it on my last 100G cube (2 into 1, using 1" plumbing) with no success you can break out the holesaw, and add another hole to your sump, and bulkhead fitting. a bit risky. end of the day, gonna need two drains OR block off one of the ports on the 1500 GPH overflow kit.
