Hi there, I am running a 23 watt CF floor lamp over my planted sump/fuge . The bulb has a rating of 5000K. I get good results from it but was wondering what I could expect from something the produces 6500-6700K being as I have read that plants like that K rating.
Best way to find out would be to try. There are other variables to think about like wattage, and reflector type. These can make a large difference as well.
To answer your question 6500k - 10000k would be more appropriate.
