Sump plumbing question

I am in the process of piping in my sump and I have a question. I have a tee on my return line that I plan on running into my GFO reactor. The outlet of the reactor will then dump into my refugium. GFO removes phosphates so will this be a problem keeping chaeto? If I use GFO to remove phosphates will I even need chaeto in the sump?

I run both in my tank and never had a problem growing cheato however it just don't grow fast like lot of others i have seen
