Sump Question

I have a 75g reef tank and would like to upgrade my sump..
I got this one off a member..TS36BR My question is there such A thing as to big of a sump not meaning fitting in the stand?

I would go with the largest one you could fit. With a bigger sump you can run a bigger fuge. Also you are increasing the overall water volume of your system, thus increasing the stability of your system. Thats a pretty neat looking sump btw.
 
Yeah that thing is too big. You should just bring it over and sell it to me for say $50 lol. ;)
 
If you need and want to build a stand, just buy the lumber and come up on a weekend. i have every kind of woodworking tool you could ever need, and used to be a master carpenter. Was on the National Historical Society's prefferred contractor list for 7 years for historical restoration. Probably cost around $300 with doors if you just buy doors at lowes and cut the stand to fit them.
 
Thanks for the offer but I really like the stand the tanks on now..I will have to sell it or trade it for something that fits in there...Lesson learned next time i will measure before i buy....
 
I forgot to show you the skimmer i have from the aquarium near you when you were here the other day, but if it will fit in your cabinet, the sealife systems skimmer i bought there is a skimming fool. Doesn't look like much, but it has really been a good one.
