Sump Recommendations/advice

I'm moving in the next few weeks which means I need to take down my 130 gallon tank. Its a 48x30x19 Leemar that has been about 4 years. For the most part, the tank has done well but I've had two different sumps and was never really happy with either. The first was an AA with just two chambers, no fuge. The second was an Eshopps 30x14x16 sump with a fuge on the side.

The problem has been that I feel like my sumps have never been tidy with lots of what I think is precipitate buildup and algae in the fuge area. Also overall the refugium in the Eshopps sump has never been very healthy. The chaeto is barely staying alive and is an awful color.

I've been running a Sicce Syncra 3 which with head loss is probably flowing at 500 gph. My skimmer is a Cone CO2. I dose alk directly into the display but the calcium has been going into my sump. I used a sock for the first 3 years but have ditched it in the past year with no noticeable difference or issues. I'd like to avoid socks.

ANYHOW, I need new sump recommendations and maybe tips on how to improve the next sump setup. The one I'm looking at is the Advanced Acrylics S125 Diamond Series - the 30x15x15. I'd like the 36" but I don't think it will quite fit.

Will this one work okay? I don't really need all the bells and whistles. My budget is under $500.

Get one custom made to a maximum size that will fit your stand without issues. The AA pvc/hybrid looks very sleek.
